HP Driver Troubleshooting

❌ Driver won't install on Windows 11?▼

Solution:

  1. Download the "Full Feature Driver" from HP Support
  2. Right-click installer → "Run as Administrator"
  3. Disable Windows Firewall temporarily during install
  4. Restart PC after installation
❌ HP Smart app not connecting?▼

Solution:

  1. Uninstall HP Smart completely
  2. Download fresh driver from HP Support (not Microsoft Store)
  3. Connect printer via USB first, then switch to WiFi
  4. Check printer and PC are on same network
❌ Printer shows "Offline" after driver install?▼

Solution:

  1. Open Settings → Printers & Scanners
  2. Remove the printer, restart PC
  3. Re-add printer (it should auto-detect)
