How to Install Canon Printer Drivers

Find Your Model

Canon Driver Troubleshooting

❌ Canon IJ Printer Assistant Tool not working?▼

Solution:

  1. Uninstall ALL Canon software (IJ Printer Utility, My Image Garden, etc.)
  2. Download fresh driver from Canon website
  3. Install as Administrator
  4. Restart computer and reconnect printer
❌ Canon PIXMA not printing colors?▼

Solution:

  1. Run nozzle check (print our test page first!)
  2. Perform deep cleaning from Canon IJ Printer Utility
  3. Check ink levels - replace empty cartridges
  4. Remove protective tape from new cartridges
❌ WiFi setup failed on Canon printer?▼

Solution:

  1. Press and hold WiFi button on printer for 3 seconds
  2. Use WPS button on router (easier than manual setup)
  3. Make sure printer is within 10 feet of router
  4. Print network settings page to verify connection
